The additive is non-carcinogenic, non-mutagenic and non-skin sensitising, so harmless to humans but deadly to bacteria.
The antibacterial agent in the desk mat prevents the bacteria’s access to nutrients, meaning that 99.9% of them simply starve and die within 24 hours.
The antibacterial agent is UV stable, and impervious to UV light.
Please note that due to the way the manufacturer packs and ships Antibacterial Desk Mats, they must be ordered in multiples of five mats. (5, 10, 15, 20 etc).
