Proton Power Module provides power, USB fast charging and data outlets on most flat furniture surfaces.

It is available as a single or double outlet module with black sockets, and a bezel available in matt silver, matt black or gloss black. (Gloss black bezel is available on single socket modules only).

It is supplied as a pre-wired unit with a power cable to a mains plug or Wieland connector, ready for installation.

Proton Power Module can be specified in the following configurations:
Single outlet units: AC power, USB charging only or data/AV only
Double outlet units: AC power only, USB charging only or data/AV only
Combined AC power, USB charging and/or data/AV
(UK fused sockets can only be fitted in double outlet units)

For installation, the modules can be snapped into 16mm thick panels, screw-fixed in to any suitable surface.

Proton Power Module Fusing / Testing:

To enable compliance with BS6396, UK sockets in double outlet units can be ordered with 3.15 or 5A 5x 20mm anti-surge ceramic fuses.

All PROTON units are 100% tested before despatch.

Proton Power Module Safety Approvals:

Sockets are approved to appropriate national and international standards e.g. BS5733 and IEC60884-1. The twin USB fast charger has been certified to IEC60950-1 and UL60950-1.

Proton Power Module Standards:

PROTON must be fully installed, as per manufacturer’s instructions, in order to achieve complete compliance with BS5733 or IEC60884-1. Installation must be completed before PROTON is connected to the supply

Proton Power Module Fixing:

PROTON unit can be snapped into panels of 16mm or screw fixed into any suitable surface.
